Executive Officer Benson Mulyungi
Benson is a local Nairobi man who noticed whilst he was at university many homeless young people, some as young as 8 years old, on the streets of Nairobi. He and his friends began going into the camps to provide food and clothing. He saw there was a massive need in Nairobi for more support for these young people. He approached many churches and organisations to try to help these children, but all of these programs were already full. He thought long and hard about what he wanted to do to try to help the street kids of Nairobi, and so Youth Hope Foundation Kenya was born.

Youth Hope Foundation is a registered Kenyan NGO working across Nairobi and the Coastal Region. We believe every young person deserves to grow up safe, educated and full of hope, and we walk alongside them through holistic protection and education.
Our Story
Youth Hope Foundation was founded out of a simple conviction: that young people facing hardship need more than a single intervention. They need safety, learning, mentorship and a community that believes in them.
Today we work hand in hand with families, schools and local partners in Nairobi and along the Kenyan coast to protect vulnerable youth and open doors to education and opportunity.
